The most difficult thing is to have the conditions and spaces in this city to ensure that it is possible to practice, support and develop talent and sport,' she acknowledged, so she will bet on attending to this citizen demand. In addition, Brugada announced that this policy will be accompanied by financial support of 20,000 pesos for all those who win a gold medal; 15,000 pesos for those who do the same with a silver one and 10,000 for those who achieve a bronze one. For the moment, it does not have more details, but her administration seeks to overcome the delays and obstacles that exist in different municipalities and to accelerate one of the most important plans of the former mayor. The 'Utopias' that Clara Brugada promised are a hallmark of her government and her past as mayor of Iztapalapa, where she managed to build 12 units. 'Sport is the main instrument for transforming society, it is what will allow transforming the lives of millions of people in the City,' assured the head of Government and added: 'We have to bet on sport because promoting sport does not only mean supporting a few, it means that society, the population and the city itself are changing'. In this framework, Brugada made two announcements related to the Utopias. The first, that all of them will have 'the spaces and facilities of all the sports disciplines' that are practiced in the national Olympics to promote all these sports. Among the characteristics they offer are, for example, community dining rooms, laundry, spa, gym, medical attention, cultural, sports and recreational activities. During the campaign she promised to make 100 and so far she has inaugurated the first one in Iztacalco. The Utopia of Azcapotzalco is delayed, but Brugada assures that it will open in April. This Sunday, when saying goodbye to the capital delegation that will participate in the national Olympics, Brugada promised a Utopia that will be dedicated exclusively to high-performance sport and will have the advice of various figures dedicated to this theme. At the same time, there will also be support for the coaches of each of the people who achieve an award during the national Olympics. In this way, Brugada seeks to strengthen the sports strategy of the capital to position the city again in the first places at the national level. They seek to provide, free of charge, goods and services for the communities of different colonies, especially for women. The head of Government, Clara Brugada, remains determined to advance with the construction of the 100 Utopias she announced during her last electoral campaign. This Sunday, when leading the flagging of the local selection that will participate in the national Olympics, she announced a new unit, which will be dedicated to high-performance sport. The second, the creation of a unit that will be especially dedicated to high-performance sport so that the figures that represent the CDMX have a space to train and develop their activities. Despite the protests, the CDMX closed the consultations for the PDG. 'It will be a place especially for those who have managed to stand out, have managed to excel and need our support,' anticipated the former mayor of Iztapalapa, who stressed that it is 'important to support sport' in the same way as it is done with 'culture, mobility, security and the environment'.
